photovoltaic module transportation, the general logistics company really can't do it

For photovoltaic enterprises with a certain scale, the logistics and transportation links, from raw materials to components, are often "big in and big out". What is important is the overall cost, timeliness, and the final safe delivery of the project. The demand for supporting logistics services has already exceeded the basic operation specifications of "moisture-proof and collision-proof. Ordinary small and medium-sized logistics companies, although they often receive photovoltaic "scattered orders", it is difficult to meet the needs of large-scale photovoltaic projects, because there are higher requirements and challenges:

1, packaging and transportation requirements are high, ordinary logistics is difficult to handle

projects involving large vehicles, the packaging, loading and unloading of components often need to be refined:

· Different batches of packaging differences, such as the first batch of 3 additional pads, and the second batch of Z-type pads.

· The logs need to be fumigated or made of glulam suitable for export.

· Use triangular wood to block and fix the left and right of the container, and use fastening belts to fix the wooden box or pallet from both sides.

· Iron frame products are fixed with fastening belt and container lifting ring, and the iron frame is filled with air bag.

· Excess space is filled with iron frame, and both sides of the iron frame and the container floor are fixed with eight curium nails.

......

In addition, special personnel shall be assigned to supervise loading and unloading and provide operation guidance at the transfer and delivery places. This is only part of the requirements for domestic rail transport, while there are more details to be professionally controlled for maritime exports, customs taxation, multimodal transport combinations, and so on.

2, the mode of transportation is large and complete, and the advantages of small categories are not good.

each logistics company and freight forwarder has its own regular advantageous lines, such as railways, highways and special lines for sea transportation, however, the transportation of photovoltaic modules often needs to be planned according to the project delivery requirements of the whole station building party, design the optimal transportation combination mode, and flexibly use the multi-modal transportation combination of public transportation, railway and sea transportation. Under this requirement, many small companies have some competitive lines that are not applicable. If they adjust according to the project requirements, they will lose their quotation advantages. At the same time, due to the lack of similar project management experience, they are not good at specific operation procedures and control.

3, the impact of emergencies, early warning plan is not easy

In recent years, the international market of the photovoltaic industry has fluctuated greatly, and it is also facing various emergencies, such as the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict this year, the strike at the ports on the west coast of the United States, and the restrictions on the Panama Canal. However, international photovoltaic projects are usually very large in size and have extremely high requirements on cost and timeliness. If there is a "mistake" in the middle of transportation, ordinary logistics companies can only obtain and convey information, often work with customers, etc. It is difficult to give solutions. Only professional large logistics companies can coordinate relevant resources, including emergency adjustment of routes, arrangement of temporary transfer and short transfer, etc.

close to the delivery process, it will also involve unexpected policies in the destination country, market price fluctuations, the need to quickly plan, adjust the storage inventory and delivery plan, minimize losses, safeguard the rights and interests of cargo owners.

4, delivery station construction environment, not everyone HOLD live

large-scale photovoltaic project components is usually located in remote areas. Many power stations are built in sandy land and desert, with poor road conditions and high requirements for transportation vehicles and drivers. From the early road survey to the protective measures in the transportation process, it is not a small test.

, from the perspective of background control, it is necessary to use digital and visual logistics control systems, as well as GPS global positioning and other technologies to share multi-party information and establish a sound security system. Small freight companies are difficult to meet these challenges due to limited resources, technology and experience.

5, special categories to be qualified, customs insurance to be professional

photovoltaic modules are not dangerous goods, energy storage batteries are dangerous goods, including some special raw materials for new energy, etc., which must meet the national qualification requirements for the transportation of dangerous goods. According to the regulations on the Management of Road Transport of dangerous goods, transport companies need to obtain a license for the transport of dangerous goods on the road, as well as the certification of the ISO9001 quality management system, and the company's drivers and escorts also need to obtain the corresponding qualification certificates.

At the same time, transportation companies also need to use dangerous goods transportation vehicles that meet national standards. The vehicles must have anti-collision, anti-skid, anti-static and other safety facilities, and conduct regular safety technical inspections. These restrictions and cost input are also the reasons why ordinary logistics companies are unwilling to challenge large-scale photovoltaic projects.

In addition to the above factors, there will also be some special requirements and industry practices and standards in export customs and insurance for the transportation of photovoltaic modules. For example, logistics companies will be required to customize transportation plans according to the contractual relationship between the consignor and the consignee of photovoltaic projects, so as to protect the rights and interests of the consignor or the consignee to the maximum extent, and corresponding transportation insurance needs to be purchased to deal with possible accidents, etc, these jobs are very difficult to complete without industry professionalism and rich experience.

see here, do you also think that the transportation of large-scale photovoltaic projects, the general logistics company really can't do it.
